Police & Government Auction News

Police auto auctions are a great place to purchase used cars at a very reasonable price.  These cars arrive at the auto auction as a result of seized property by the government. 

Here are some tips for puchasing at police auto auctions:

1.  Take a good look at the cars as you will want to inspect the vehicle and make sure it is running.  Also, inspect the inside and outside to make sure there are no major problems.  Keep in mind that the cars which are in good condition will draw the most attention and competition.  Do your homework and see what the estimated value is of the car you will be bidding on.

2.  Bring Cash and Identification as most police auto auctions only accept cash at the time the auction is completed.  Paperwork will need to be completed so you will need proper identification in order to complete the transaction and drive off with the car.

3.  Read the auction rules.  Not all police auto auctions have the same rules so know before you start bidding what you can and cannot do during the auction process.

There are many deals at police auto auctions so make sure you are prepared and you will go home a winner.
